Week 1
Certified Divers: June 15th -20th 2026 | Toucan Diving Bonaire
Bonaire is known worldwide as a diver’s paradise. It’s an island built around leisure, easy ocean access, and reef protection. This Juneteenth trip is reserved for Black divers to celebrate freedom, joy, and community. We’ll explore pristine reefs through guided boat dives, enjoy world-class shore diving, and stay at a gorgeous beachfront all-inclusive resort with meals, drinks, and unlimited tanks for shore diving included. For those who want to go deeper, there’s an optional PADI Reef Renewal course where you can learn how to plant and care for coral nurseries.

Beginner Divers: June 22nd - 26th 2026 | Toucan Diving Bonaire
Bonaire is known worldwide as a diver’s paradise — an island built around easy ocean access and reef protection. In celebration of Juneteenth Month, this trip is reserved for new Black divers freshly beginning your scuba diving journey. You’ll learn in a supportive, welcoming environment that honors care, access, and community. You’ll complete your Open Water certification while exploring calm, crystal-clear reefs with expert instruction every step of the way. Between dive lessons, relax at our gorgeous beachfront all-inclusive resort, with meals and drinks included. This week is about community, growth, and discovering the beauty of the underwater world for the first time.
Black Futures Month: Bahamas
Week 1
Certified Divers: February 8th -13th 2026 | Neal Watson’s Scuba Center
The Bahamas is a protected shark sanctuary and a group of Great Hammerheads gather on the island of Bimini every year. They are critically endangered and very rare to observe out in the wild. It’s why Bimini is a bucket list dive site for many. This February, we’re celebrating not only Black history, but also the brilliance of our future for a dive trip dedicated to Black divers. I’m beyond excited to join forces with Bahamian marine ecologist Alannah Vellacott as my co-host. We’ll celebrate the enjoyment of our community, our connection to the ocean, and the future we’re all building together.

I left a piece of my heart in those turquoise waters. The Bahamas is a protected shark sanctuary and a group of Great Hammerheads gather on the island of Bimini every year. They are critically endangered and very rare to observe out in the wild. It’s why Bimini is a bucket list dive site for many. This Galentine’s Day I’m teaming up with the amazing Bahamian marine ecologist, Alannah Vellacott, to co-host a girls trip like no other. Chocolates, flowers, fins and bubbles! This trip is designed to celebrate friendship, the ocean, and unforgettable encounters with some of our favorite legendary marine animals. Will you be our Galentine?

This trip we’ll spend some time in Phuket doing land activities before we go explore the stunning underwater landscapes of the Similan Islands on a liveaboard boat.
